Get your golf swing fine-tuned for the summer. The Ashwaubenon Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department is now offering youth Golf Instruction from the Professional Staff at Highland Ridge. Whether you are just starting or have never picked up a club before, this program will teach you the necessary fundamentals to play the game of golf at a high level.
AS one of the world's most popular martial arts, Tae Kwon Do develops discipline, respect, balance, self esteem and coordination. loose fitting clothing is recommended and limited contact is expected. Participants must be at least 7 years old.
The ideal soccer camp for the recreational and developing player to become a better player. The focus is on skill building and technical development combined with tactical aspects of the game appropriate to age and ability level. Themes of safety, learning and enjoyment are consistent through all age curricula. 3 hours per day working on fundamentals , individual skill building and fun games!!!
Is your child 6 years old or older? This summer, encourage them to attend their neighborhood park for the playground program. They are guaranteed a summer full of fun and excitement. Our playgrounds are staffed weekdays with playground leaders who plan and lead activities throughout the summer. Activities include arts and crafts, games, sports, theme weeks, special events and much more! Your child is sure to enjoy this fun-filled 9 week program. Best of all, the playground program is FREE! Children should register with the playground leader at the park they are attending. All parks will be closed on Tuesday, July 5.
Game! Set! Match! Do you want to learn the basics of tennis? Our classes will teach proper stroke technique, strategy and court positioning all while having fun. Become a trained babysitter!!! Being in charge of children younger than you is a great responsibility. You are in charge of each child’s safety and happiness. Babysitting can be fun, rewarding and often times a challenging experience. This class is meant to be a guideline for questions you may have concerning the care of a young child. You will be provided with basic information necessary for you to handle most emergencies. Although this class is not meant to certify you in CPR, you will learn basic instructions on providing CPR and simple first aid. After this class you will be saying “I am the best babysitter ever!”. Ages 10-14.
Learn the basics of cheerleading in a safe, fun environment. This class is taught by USASF credentialed coaches and will introduce your young athlete to the various parts of a cheer routine…jumps, motions, stunting, tumbling and dance.
